I let my QME appointment lapse. Do I need to take the 16 hour report writing course again?

According to the DWC Medical Unit, you will have to complete the 16 hour report writing course and the State QME examination in order to be reappointed if you let you appointment lapse. You may complete the 16 hour report writing course either before or after sitting the State QME examination. Our 16 hour course includes the DWC required 6 hour live/Zoom course which is given several times a year.
